Previously a local mini-market and post office with two flats above, when the petrol station and garage next door finally closed, the reduced passing traffic meant that the shop business was no longer financially viable.

Architect's plans were drawn up and submitted to convert the building into two semi-detached 3-bed houses.

The two houses now provide a reliable rental income for the owner/investor.
